Thomas Bellew hails from a large family, with seven siblings. He was raised in a small neighborhood at the end of World’s End in Hingham.
After graduating from Hingham High School in 1991, he enlisted in the Navy. During his naval service, he was assigned to the USS Kitty Hawk, where he worked on the flight deck. His deployments took him to various parts of the world, including the Persian Gulf, Somalia, North Korea, Panama, and many other countries. Upon receiving an honorable discharge in 1995, he transitioned to a career as a Weymouth Firefighter in 1997.
Tom’s interests include a range of sports and outdoor activities, such as hockey, football, baseball, camping and boating, as well as spending time with his family, friends, five children and one granddaughter. He also enjoys riding his Harley Davidson!
